DANX continues to expand, and we now need to strengthen our team in Gothenburg with an engaged and communicative employee who wants to contribute to ensuring our distribution runs as planned, and that our customers and recipients are always updated on their deliveries. In the role of Onsite Employee, you work both operationally and administratively. You are responsible for supporting daily operations, following up on deliveries, and acting as the traffic control's eyes and ears on-site. The position requires the ability to switch between physical work and system management, to thrive in a high-tempo environment, and to have the desire to develop together with us.
To thrive in this role, you need to be meticulous, solution-oriented, and accustomed to handling multiple work routines simultaneously. You will be a central part of the team at the terminal, where you, together with colleagues and drivers, work to streamline, facilitate, and ensure quality throughout the entire flow. At the same time, you are expected to take personal responsibility, work systematically, and drive improvements that develop both your own role and our business. We are looking for someone with energy, will, and ambition to grow alongside us.
Main Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities include:
- Continuous contact via phone and email with traffic controllers and other terminals for proactive work regarding distribution vehicles and air cargo.
- Reconciliation of local routes with drivers.
- Administrative work – documentation and reporting between internal functions.
- Time and quality assurance to ensure we meet deadlines.
- Ensuring quality in cargo handling.
- Structuring cargo distribution for optimization and efficiency of the distribution process.
- Marking cargo/routes in our internal IT systems.
- Handover and continuous reconciliation with traffic control via email, phone, and internal files.
- Standard terminal work such as unloading and loading trucks.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.
- Proficient in English in speech and writing.
- Previous experience in terminal work and/or in a traffic controller role.
- Basic knowledge of Sweden's geography.
- Forklift license A+B.
- Good proficiency in working with IT systems.
- Category B driver's license.
Merits:
- Training in ADR 1.3.
- Experience with night work.
About the Position:
The position is a permanent full-time employment (36 hours/week) with a six-month probation period.
Working Hours:
Monday–Thursday 19:15–04:00
Sunday 22:45–03:45
Start Date: By August 1st at the latest.
During the training period, working hours may shift, and travel may occur.
