About the Kalmar Facility

Our branch in Kalmar is a large facility where we receive and handle several different types of materials, such as iron and metal, paper, plastic, alternative raw materials (AR), and electronics. The operations are characterized by a high pace and close collaboration between colleagues, with safety, structure, and efficient material flow in focus.

About the Role

In the role of Production Worker, you will receive incoming materials, perform receiving checks, and classify and register the materials in our data systems. You will primarily work in the part of the facility where we handle various types of iron and metals. Much of the work is manual, as materials come as piece goods, but you will also use a forklift to move materials around the site.

Private individuals also visit the branch, and you will greet them and assist with weighing and registering their waste.

Examples of tasks:

• Receiving, loading, and unloading of materials
• Classification and sorting of metal and other materials
• Moving materials with a forklift
• Contributing to order, safety, and structure at the facility
• Participate in improvement work and daily operations

You will be part of a team of approximately 10 people who all work with similar tasks. The team is a close-knit group that enjoys working together. Working hours are 07:00–16:00, Monday to Friday.

Who are you?

We believe you are someone who thrives in a practical role and enjoys working both independently and with others. You have a strong focus on safety and contribute to a positive work environment.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• Forklift license and experience with forklift operation
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Category B driver's license
• A responsible and meticulous attitude

It is an advantage if you have:

• Wheel loader license
• Experience with gas cutting
• Experience in material handling or work in a similar environment
• Operator certificate for material handlers or excavators.
