Marbit AB is one of Stockholm's leading players within civil engineering, infrastructure, and construction. We continue to grow and are now looking for a Quantity Surveyor (Estimator) to join our headquarters in Stockholm.

We are looking for someone with at least five years of experience in estimating within the civil engineering and construction industry. If you have slightly less experience but the right background and drive, we are also interested in you. The role covers the entire process – from tender documentation to project launch – and our projects vary in size, reaching up to approximately 100 MSEK.

Responsibilities

• Monitor tender portals and plan tender work.
• Prepare tender calculations and documentation, obtain and evaluate quotations.
• Present calculations in joint tender reviews.
• Provide project support during the launch of new projects and ongoing support in active projects regarding ÄTA (changes, additions, and deletions), procurement, and scheduling.

Qualifications Requirements

• Post-secondary technical background in construction or longer relevant experience.
• 5 years of experience as an estimator in civil engineering, infrastructure, and construction.
• Experience with the calculation software MAP (or other calculation software such as Bidcon).
• Experience with tenders and understanding of contract law.
• Familiarity with bills of quantities with technical descriptions and AMA/MER standards.
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).

Merits

• Good proficiency in Bluebeam and Excel.
• Broad background from roles such as Site Manager, Foreman, Supervisor, Layout/Measurement Technician, Contract Engineer, or skilled tradesperson.
• Experience from production with ÄTA management, procurement, and scheduling.
