Night Shift Relief Staff for Lerum Municipality's Elderly Care Facilities

The Staffing Unit is seeking hourly relief staff for night shifts at Lerum Municipality's elderly care facilities this summer. Opportunities for pre-booked shifts are available during weeks 26-32. Of course, you will be able to continue as hourly relief staff even after the summer.

You will work night shifts at one or more of our elderly care facilities in Lerum, Floda, and Gråbo. To qualify for the position, you must have at least 6 months of documented experience in care work.

Working Hours

The earliest start time is 20:45, and you finish in the morning no later than 07:15.

Introduction

Before your first shift, you will be introduced to the workplace by a supervisor, where you will learn routines and the needs of the residents. You will also complete online training and the education for medication delegation.

Job Duties

You always base your work on what the resident needs and contribute to their well-being, providing a valuable and secure daily life. Examples of common tasks include:

• Supervision
• Assisting with showering and toilet visits
• Cleaning and laundry
• Dispensing medication
• Nursing tasks according to instructions and delegation from the nurse
• Documentation in administrative systems

For this position, you need documented work experience from care work, preferably from elderly care, equivalent to at least 6 months of full-time employment, as well as having held medication delegation. Education in care and social services is meritorious. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The work involves documentation and communication with care recipients, colleagues, and other partners, so you need to feel confident in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
