Traffic Controller for DSV in Landskrona

Do you want to work in a central and varied role within transport and logistics where you can combine planning, problem-solving, and daily contact with customers, drivers, and carriers? We at JKS Sweden are now looking for a Traffic Controller for DSV in Landskrona.

About the role

As a Traffic Controller at DSV, you are responsible for directing and planning transports and ensuring that daily operations run efficiently and with high quality. The role involves a fast pace and many contact points where structure, service, and problem-solving are crucial for success.

You will work closely with both internal and external parties and become a key part of ensuring high delivery precision and a good customer experience.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Plan and direct incoming and outgoing trucks
• Ensure optimal load planning and capacity
• Monitor deliveries and handle deviations
• Contact with drivers, carriers, and customers
• Issue freight documents and handle notifications
• Freight search and reconciliation
• Handle financial follow-up and credit checks
• Initiate repair and inspection of trailers
• Handle customs administration if needed
• Follow up and ensure that routines and processes are followed

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience in transport, logistics, or traffic control
• Is structured and thrives in a high-paced work environment
• Has good problem-solving skills and can make quick decisions
• Is communicative and service-oriented
• Thrives with many contact points and collaboration
• Has good administrative skills and computer proficiency
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Merits

• Experience from transport management or forwarding
• Knowledge in customs handling and transport documentation
• Experience in financial follow-up and invoicing
