About the Role

The role of Pipe Network Technician belongs to the business area of Water and Wastewater (VA) and vacuum waste collection. The unit is responsible, among other things, for the municipality's water and wastewater facilities, which consist of pipe networks and pumping stations. In this role, you will work alongside foremen and other dedicated colleagues. Jerry Larsson will be your direct manager and looks forward to receiving your application.

Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• installation and renovation of pipes
• lining of water pipes
• operation of pumping stations
• replacement of water meters and valves
• leak detection in drinking water pipes

The position includes on-call duties.

Requirements and Qualifications

We prefer that you have:

• several years of experience in the water and wastewater industry and/or the construction industry.
• practical experience from the operation and maintenance of water and sewage pipe networks.
• A Category B driver's license is required; a Category BE license is an advantage.

It is also an advantage if you have some form of theoretical education within the water and wastewater field.

Your personal qualities are crucial for your success in the role. As a person, you are positive and engaged with a genuine interest in technical work. You are receptive and work well with others. To succeed in the job, you are structured, meticulous, and take great responsibility for your assignments.
