Norra Västmanlands Municipal Technical Association (NVK) is a municipal association where Fagersta and Norberg municipalities are members. The main office is located in Fagersta with a branch office in Norberg. The association is responsible for the operation of housing, commercial properties, streets and roads, water and sewage, parks, forests, leisure facilities, IT, and cleaning services. NVK is led by a board appointed by the municipalities, with the CEO responsible for strategic and operational management. NVK has approximately 150 employees and an annual turnover of 400 million SEK.

About the workplace – who we are!

We are a team of approximately 50 employees within NVK Cleaning and Service. We perform cleaning in municipal premises in Fagersta and Norberg, deliver internal mail and meals, and operate a vehicle workshop for servicing and repairing NVK's fleet.

Your role

The position as a temporary hourly worker at NVK Cleaning & Service involves performing cleaning duties in municipal premises such as preschools, schools, nursing homes, and administrative buildings. The role may also include driving meal and mail delivery vehicles during the summer and as needed. Working hours are daytime, between 06:00 and 15:00. Work locations may vary between Fagersta and Norberg.

Your qualifications and merits

Basic computer skills are required for time reporting. No specific experience in cleaning is required as we provide internal training and guidance.

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, structured, and responsible. Good service awareness, communication skills, and fluency in Swedish (both spoken and written) are important. You should be positive, social, and outgoing, as customer contact occurs daily. Since the work involves both independent tasks and teamwork, it is important that you are self-motivated and have strong collaboration skills.
