Here at the depot in Eskilstuna, we are a wonderful team of approximately 250 employees who drive 74 buses around Eskilstuna and the surrounding area every day. We meet hundreds of people every day whom we transport from point A to B. To thrive with us, you should have an open mind and a genuine interest in service.

Since 2003, Transdev has operated line traffic in Eskilstuna, and today the driver corps consists of more than 200 drivers. As a bus driver at our depot, you will work among colleagues with a strong family-like cohesion and warm team spirit. Every day, we strive to create attractive public transport with the customer in focus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome passengers onto the bus
• Provide our travelers with a simple, safe, and pleasant journey
• Drive the bus on scheduled routes
• Report traffic disruptions and deviations to traffic control
• Report any vehicle faults and damages to the bus

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Category D driving license
• Hold a valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• Hold a driver card for the digital tachograph according to the Swedish Transport Agency
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

What is important for the role of bus driver is how you meet our travelers, as well as your driving skills. You are a skilled driver who operates the vehicle safely and securely with environmental awareness as a foundation. You are responsible and can maintain your composure even in stressful traffic and customer situations.
