As the Transport Manager, you ensure that the delivery terms agreed upon with the customer are met. Your responsibility involves planning and booking transports. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the Logistics Manager and the Supply Chain Lead. The role also includes responsibility for all customs handling at Nammo Vingåker. Administration and follow-up of assigned import & export permits, as well as monthly control of Intrastat reporting, are part of the position. You will also handle internal logistics between our four Nammo facilities, involving daily communication and planning.

Examples of tasks:

• Plan and book transports.
• Handle transport inquiries and quotations.
• Intrastat reporting.
• Act as an advisor in transport matters.
• Prepare freight documents.
• Handle import & export declarations.
• Internal logistics within Nammo Sweden.

The Transport Manager reports to the Logistics Manager for the Vingåker operations.

We are looking for you who have a relevant educational background and at least 5 years of experience within logistics. You have good knowledge of customs handling and ensure that you stay updated in the field. Experience with dangerous goods and/or Class 1 (ADR) is a requirement. Additionally, you have experience working in a larger business system and have good knowledge of Office programs. You express yourself well in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. For the role, a B-driver's license with access to a personal car and Swedish citizenship are required.

As a person, you have an interest in working with continuous improvements. You are engaged in what you do and have the ability to switch between individual work and collaborations in larger forums. The role involves many contact points both internally and externally, where social competence and willingness to collaborate are important traits. You are communicative and can express yourself clearly while being receptive to feedback and other perspectives.
