In our rolling mill, approximately 50,000 tons of wire rod are produced annually, of which about 10,000 tons are further processed into drawn wire. Responsibilities

As an Environmental Engineer, you will have a responsibility area that includes handling and coordinating environmental issues within the company's management system. Together with the Energy Engineer, you will collaborate with operations managers to ensure that the requirements in the management systems are met and adhered to.

You will initiate measures for current conditions and laws, primarily regarding the environment but also quality, working environment, and safety. You will represent the company in external networks, as well as in contacts with external suppliers, inspections, and other controls. As an Environmental Engineer, you are part of a team with the Energy Engineer as your closest colleague, but you are part of a larger team encompassing process, product, and quality development. You report to the Technical Manager.

Who thrives here?

We are looking for you with several years of experience in a similar role. You have a relevant higher education or university degree in the field of environment and sustainability.

You have a desire to contribute to optimizing and streamlining the business based on set company goals and current legislation. You enjoy varied tasks and have the ability to both analyze and produce information, both statistically and in writing. This places demands on your communication skills but also on your courage to set requirements for the business.

For the position, you are expected to have good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing, good computer literacy, and a driver's license as some travel may be required.
