The company is in an expansion phase and is now looking for another contracting engineer for its infrastructure projects in Stockholm.

About the role:

As a contracting engineer, you are a key resource in the production department. You will collaborate closely with the estimating department and production managers, and together with other project team members, you will create the prerequisites for safe production with high productivity, quality, and profitability.

The role involves extensive internal contact within the company as well as external contacts with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and authorities.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• At least 5 years of experience as a contracting engineer or site manager
• At least 10 years of industry experience
• University degree in engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge of contracting law (AB04 and ABT06)
• Knowledge of Civil Engineering AMA and MER Anläggning standards
• Control over all contract documents in projects
• Purchasing of subcontractors (UE) and materials in projects
• Quantity adjustments in contracts
• Handling and pricing of variations and change orders (ÄTA/PM) in projects
• Final cost forecasts and cost follow-up
• Experience working in projects with many different technical areas and multiple subcontractors
• Establish and follow up on QHSE (Quality, Health, Environment, Safety) work in the project

Who are you?

You want to be the hub of the network and likely have a technical university degree or equivalent as a foundation. You bring at least 4 years of experience from the civil engineering sector (concrete), as well as some years of experience in the role of project engineer or a similar position.

It is an advantage if you have worked in project management software or similar business systems. As a person, you are meticulous and have strong economic skills. You have a genuine interest in your role, are goal-oriented, and have a will and curiosity to develop.

It is important that you are a team player and understand that collaboration is key to successful projects. Your social skills will be important in your relationships with both our customers and colleagues, new and existing.
