About the role

In this role, you combine an analytical approach with secure and independent leadership. You are responsible for gathering, structuring, and documenting requirements, while leading the work forward and ensuring that solutions meet the needs of the business and technology. The role requires you to take ownership of larger contexts, drive decisions, and act as a natural guide for both the team and stakeholders.

You will:

  • Gather, analyze, and document requirements from the business, IT, and other stakeholders
  • Work closely with development teams with a focus on integrations, APIs, data flows, and technical dependencies
  • Create functional and non-functional requirements related to performance, security, availability, and operability
  • Plan, coordinate, and follow up on activities in ongoing initiatives
  • Facilitate workshops, drive decisions, and create alignment between business and technology
  • Ensure that solutions comply with current regulations and established working methods
  • Contribute to developing structure, methods, and working practices in both mature and emerging deliveries

About you

We are looking for someone who is confident in their skills and accustomed to taking responsibility for larger contexts. You have a combination of technical understanding, analytical ability, and stable leadership. You work independently but also thrive in close collaboration with teams, suppliers, and the client's organization.

You have:

  • At least 7–9 years of experience in IT project management combined with responsibility for business analysis and requirements gathering.
  • Strong ability to translate business needs into clear, traceable, and testable requirements (functional and non-functional).
  • Experience driving IT initiatives from start to finish in complex system and organizational environments.
  • Practical experience using requirements management tools, including documentation, traceability, and tracking of requirements.
  • Experience with agile working methods such as Scrum or SAFe.
  • Excellent communication skills in Swedish, both verbal and written.

Meritorious:

  • Relevant certification in project management and/or requirements management (Prince2, PMI, IPMA, IREB, or equivalent).
  • Experience driving digitalization, feasibility studies, or change management.
  • Experience working in the public sector or other regulated industries.

The Public Sales business area at Nexer develops assignments within the public sector – authorities, regions, and municipalities.
