About the role

The Department of Property Investments and Projects works with all future and ongoing renovation and new construction projects at Karolinska. We handle everything from short, intensive projects to multi-year projects with investment budgets exceeding one billion SEK.

The Department acts as Karolinska's extended arm between clinical operations and our renovation projects. We support operations with all questions related to these projects.

As a project manager, you are responsible for leading and coordinating relocation projects from start to finish. You ensure that operational needs are met and that relocations are carried out efficiently, with high quality and minimal impact on daily operations. Your responsibilities include, for example, relocating operations to new or renovated premises (as part of commissioning) and relocations in collaboration with the space strategy manager.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead and drive relocation projects of varying scope, from start to finish.
• Plan, coordinate, and follow up on activities related to business relocations.
• Provide support in matters concerning interior design and working environment.
• Act as the "hub" and ensure that the right support functions are engaged in the projects.
• Work in close collaboration with the space strategy manager.

• Has good collaboration skills and thrives in a coordinating role.
• Is structured and proactive in your approach to work.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Relevant academic degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in project management.
• Proficiency in the Office suite.
• Very strong administrative skills.
• Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Merits:

• Experience in project management, preferably within relocation, property, or workplace development.
• Understanding of working environment issues and operational needs.
