We are now looking for an engaged caretaker for the Culture and Leisure Department, primarily based at Bredstorps sports ground.

Bredstorps sports ground is the municipality's largest multi-sport facility, offering a wide range of indoor and outdoor sports.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a caretaker, you will be part of a work team of six employees where collaboration, responsibility, and service are a natural part of everyday life. You work closely with clubs, visitors, and colleagues to create safe, well-maintained, and attractive facilities for sports and outdoor activities. Together with your colleagues, you strive for an efficient operation that creates a welcoming and positive atmosphere at the facility. In this role, you interact with other actors and private individuals daily, and in these contacts, you are attentive and service-oriented.

The work includes, among other things:

• Maintenance of green areas, sports fields, and the municipality's swimming beaches
• Mowing, ground maintenance, and snow clearing
• Ice maintenance and work related to ice facilities during winter
• Service, supervision, and minor maintenance of machines and machine rooms
• Work on continuous improvements, development of working methods, and quality assurance of routines
• Taking responsibility within assigned work areas and participating in operational development
• Contributing to high customer satisfaction and good service towards clubs and the general public

We actively work on developing working methods, structure, and division of responsibilities within the operation. Therefore, we are looking for someone who not only wants to perform tasks but also contribute ideas, engagement, and a willingness to develop the operation together with the work group.

Within the Culture and Leisure Department, there are several divisions, and if necessary, you may need to contribute your skills to other operations.

During the summer half-year, we work primarily during the day, and during the winter half-year, shift work and weekend work occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have an interest in sports and experience with ice maintenance and green care. If you have good machine skills, for example with tractors, loaders, or similar, we see this as a great advantage.

A B-driving license and driving experience are requirements for the position.
