Kompis Sverige is now looking for two Part-time Employees (30%) in Stockholm and Västra Götaland for our project "Measures for social integration as part of the Swedish reception: a national model." funded by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF). We are looking for you who want to help develop our integration-promoting activities and create meetings between new and established Swedes.

About the role

You will be an important part of our team in the region and work closely with our participants and partners. The role suits you if you enjoy varied tasks and working both operationally and relationally.

Your responsibilities include:

• Participating in and coordinating social activities and meeting places
• Recruiting and following up with participants
• Working with buddy matching (individual and group level)
• Delivering presentations and information meetings
• Building and maintaining relationships with local actors
• Supporting administrative and communication work, e.g., documentation and follow-up

💡 The work involves significant contact with people and often takes place out in the field. Evening and weekend work may occur.

We believe you:

• Have a strong commitment to integration and societal issues
• Enjoy working with people and building relationships
• Are self-motivated, proactive, and responsible
• Like working in a team and contributing to development
• Have good communication skills in Swedish

It is an advantage if you speak additional languages, such as Arabic, Persian, Dari, Tigrinya, Turkish, or Swahili. Most importantly, we want to find the right person – language skills are a plus, not a requirement.

About the project

The project runs from 2025–2028 and is funded by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF). The goal is to develop a national model for what integration can look like from day one.

We work with language training, civics, networking, and meaningful meetings that build trust and participation in society.

Practical information about the position

📍 Location:

• Stockholm: At our office on Södermalm in Stockholm with assignments across the region
• Västra Götaland: Based in Västra Götaland (flexible regarding exact location) with assignments across the region

🕒 Scope: 30%

📅 Start: August/September 2026

📅 End: May 2028

💬 Working hours: Flexible, evenings and weekends may occur
