LetsGig AB is looking for a highly experienced project manager for a long-term consulting assignment within one of Sweden's largest railway and infrastructure programs. This role is ideal for you if you have extensive experience from the production phase of railway projects and are accustomed to supporting client organizations regarding progress, production methods, logistics, interfaces, material handling, and cost control.

This is a senior, program-wide role where you are expected to work independently, drive issues forward, create structure in complex project environments, and contribute a high level of practical production understanding.

About the Assignment

You will work as a program-wide project manager with a focus on production coordination within a larger railway/infrastructure program. The assignment includes, among other things, supporting project managers and project directors with issues related to interfaces, logistics, material handling, production planning, production monitoring, procurement strategies, and cost control.

You will also provide advice on strategic decisions, prepare decision support materials, coordinate project activities, and ensure that important experiences and information are managed across different parts of the program.

In this role, you may occasionally support or replace a project director/project manager, or step in as an assistant project manager or in another related role.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare decision support materials and analyses related to production, logistics, and progress.
• Clarify the project's scope, prerequisites, dependencies, and critical interfaces.
• Ensure coordination between project activities, internal functions, and external parties.
• Support project managers and project directors in production planning and monitoring.
• Contribute to issues regarding production methods, logistics, material flows, and cost control.
• Identify risks, bottlenecks, and potential improvements in the construction and production phases.
• Contribute to innovation, improved working methods, and the development of production-related processes.
• Transfer knowledge and experience to the organization.

Scope

The assignment is full-time.

Workplace and Travel

The work is primarily performed from project offices in Solna/Sundbyberg, Nyköping, or Norrköping.

As a starting point, work is performed at the project office five days a week. Some remote work may occur by agreement.

Business travel occurs, primarily between project offices in the region, approximately four times per month.

Requirements

You must meet all the requirements below to be considered for the role.

• A university or college degree of at least 180 hp with a technical focus on civil engineering, or alternatively, other relevant education combined with experience deemed equivalent.
• At least 10 years of current work experience from the production phase with infrastructure production, including production planning for railways. The experience must correspond to at least 10 of the last 15 years.
• At least 5 years of current experience supporting a client organization in matters regarding progress, production methods, and logistics. The experience must correspond to at least 5 of the last 10 years.
• Good ability to write reports, decision support documents, and other professional documents.
• Good ability to conduct oral presentations in both internal and external contexts.
• Good knowledge of relevant standard contracts and regulations, particularly AB, ABT, ABK, and AMA.
• Very good Swedish in both speech and writing.
• Ability to work to the extent required by the assignment.
• Ability to work on-site from project offices in Solna/Sundbyberg, Nyköping, or Norrköping.
• Ability to conduct business travel within the framework of the assignment.

Desirable Experience

It is highly meritorious if you have experience from development assignments and change work that has led to concrete savings in construction projects.

It is highly meritorious if you have worked with the development and implementation of innovations, new working methods, improved production methods, or more efficient logistics/coordination solutions.

It is highly meritorious if you have documented experience from complex railway projects with several parallel contracts, many interfaces, and high demands for coordination.

It is highly meritorious if you have experience independently analyzing major production challenges, presenting solutions, and getting the organization to move from decision to implementation.
