About the operations

The operation "Åter i Bruk" (Back in Use) is an internal service for furniture reuse within the Region of Västra Götaland. The unit is located on Flöjelbergsgatan in Mölndal, where both offices and storage facilities are situated. We are eight employees ensuring regional furniture reuse. We do this by collecting furniture that is no longer needed or is broken, repairing it, handling spare parts, photographing the furniture, listing it on an internal ordering page, storing it, processing orders, washing the furniture, and finally delivering it to new users. As a service worker, you will contribute to making a difference in the region's internal environmental work.

About the job

Your main tasks involve the transport and washing of furniture. Transporting furniture at Åter i Bruk means delivering ordered furniture to customers, but also clearing premises of furniture, ranging from small items to height-adjustable desks and sofas. Washing involves preparing furniture for delivery according to routines, including steam cleaning.

The duties also include administrative tasks in the operational system. You follow routines and are part of initiating the development of operations to streamline and improve, for example, internal workflows. Since the unit is small, you must be flexible and have good teamwork skills to quickly adapt and perform the tasks required for daily operations. You are part of the operation and thus the face towards the customer, which is why it is crucial that you are passionate about service and see reuse as a given. To thrive at Åter i Bruk, you must have a strong commitment to reuse, where every day is characterized by making a difference.

About you

You have completed upper secondary education and communicate and write fluently in Swedish, as you have dialogue with customers and colleagues and follow written and oral work instructions. Previous experience from a service profession and a B-driver's license with documented experience are requirements for the position. You are meticulous, structured, a good team player, build good relationships, are efficient, and have a desire to deliver good work. You should be able to work in a goal- and results-oriented manner.

You have good computer skills, as the job involves working in various systems. You also have the physical strength required to lift heavy items, as the work involves moving furniture both in storage and to and from customers.

Previous experience as a driver is meritorious but not a requirement. We place great emphasis on personal qualities and attitude.

You will be part of the operation and the face towards internal customers, which is why it is crucial that you are passionate about service and see reuse as a given.
