Maintenance Mechanic for Modern and Highly Automated Wood Industry

Eterni Sweden AB is currently seeking a maintenance mechanic for an established client company.

Our client operates within the modern wood industry, where advanced production lines, CNC machines, robot cells, and a high degree of automation form the core of the business. Here, technology, quality, and efficiency are combined in a future-oriented production environment where availability and operational reliability are crucial.

Job Responsibilities

As a maintenance mechanic, you will become an important part of the operation and be responsible for ensuring stable and efficient production. The work involves both preventive maintenance and rapid problem-solving in a technically advanced production environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of machines and production equipment
• Troubleshooting and repair of CNC machines, robot cells, and automated production lines
• Assist in the installation, commissioning, and optimization of new equipment
• Participate in improvement and development work to increase availability and efficiency
• Document performed maintenance according to established routines
• Work closely with production and other functions to minimize downtime and ensure an efficient flow

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have experience from industrial maintenance and a strong technical interest. You thrive in an environment where technology, problem-solving, and development are in focus.

We would like you to have:

• Experience in maintenance work within industry or production
• Knowledge in mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics
• Experience with troubleshooting in a production environment
• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

Merits:

• Experience with CNC-controlled machines
• Experience with robotics or automated production lines
• Knowledge in electricity, automation, or control systems
• Experience in improvement work and Lean

As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and have a practical approach to work. You enjoy taking initiative, have a drive to find solutions, and appreciate working together with others to create a stable and efficient production.

About the Position

The positions are consultancy assignments via Eterni Sweden AB where you work on-site at our clients. The assignment is full-time and initially spans approximately six months, with good opportunities for extension or direct employment with the client.
