Job Description

As a warehouse worker at the Assistive Devices Centre, you work with supplying our customers with assistive devices and pharmaceutical-related products. Your tasks are varied and will include among other things:

• Goods receiving
• Forklift driving in the warehouse
• Packing, labeling, and finalizing orders for distribution
• Maintaining order and tidiness in warehouse shelves
• Administrative work in our business system Sesam

Other tasks may occur as needed, and it is important that you thrive in a varied role where workdays can look different.

To provide good service in the role of warehouse worker, it is important that you:

• Have a good attitude and are service-oriented
• Enjoy working with others and contributing to a positive work climate
• Are responsible and have an orderly mindset so that quality and high patient safety are ensured
• Are flexible and can adapt to changed circumstances

We are looking for you with a completed upper secondary education combined with previous work experience in warehousing. Furthermore, you have a forklift license A & B and a B driver's license, as well as good driving experience.

You communicate fluently in Swedish and can follow written and oral work instructions, as well as hold dialogues with customers and colleagues. Furthermore, it is important that you have the physical fitness required to walk and stand all day, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks. You have basic digital competence and understanding of working in various digital systems.

Previous experience with the business system Sesam is meritorious.

About the Assistive Devices Centre

The Assistive Devices Centre belongs to the Social Services Administration within the Region of Västra Götaland and is a competence and logistics center for the 49 municipalities, as well as the Region of Västra Götaland's own operations. We are located in Skövde, Mölndal, Borås, and Uddevalla. Our service offering is based on healthcare providers' needs for both in-depth knowledge in the field of assistive devices and various service functions to support the care chain. We handle purchasing, warehousing, distribution, as well as service and maintenance of assistive device articles. We also help prescribers with, among other things, assistive device counseling, individual fitting, adaptations/special adaptations, as well as study visits and training. We offer you a developing workplace where you receive introduction, training, and good employment conditions. As part of our team, you as an employee lay the foundation for a well-functioning healthcare system.
