About the RoleA player in regional rail traffic needs to strengthen the work of identifying, investigating, and implementing technical changes on Itino trains, high-value components, and support systems. As responsible for the change management of Itino, you will have overall responsibility in a role where structure, quality, and progress are crucial for the trains to be reliable, accessible, and long-term sustainable.
You work closely with change leaders, train managers, and other specialists, while also having many contact points with train owners, lessees, railway companies, maintenance suppliers, and system suppliers. Here you will combine deep technical understanding with coordination, analysis, and improvement work in a business where every change needs to work both in theory and in practice.
The role is suitable for you who want to influence the development of an important train type in a technically complex environment where your work has a clear impact on maintenance, operational safety, and future management.
Responsibilities- You identify solutions to technical problems, such as systematic faults, obsolescence, and other train adaptations.
- You lead technical investigations and coordinate work together with system suppliers and other relevant parties.
- You plan, carry out, and evaluate test installations, and follow up on results and recommendations.
- You write technical reports and produce presentation material and background information for different target groups.
- You ensure that prescribed maintenance is optimal based on reliability, availability, lifecycle cost, and lifespan assurance.
- You evaluate the consequences and outcomes of maintenance changes and develop and quality-assure maintenance documentation.
- You ensure that documentation from management projects is appropriate and manage the maintenance system FORD.
- You perform risk assessments according to CSM-RA and ensure that the work meets TSD as well as other relevant regulations and legislation.
- You maintain dialogue with stakeholders and report ongoing status, risks, and progress in the steering group and supplier forum.
- You have post-secondary education in technology, such as university or civil engineer, or equivalent work experience.
- You have at least 5 years of experience working with railway vehicles at a deep technical level.
- You have at least 3 years of experience working in FORD or a similar vehicle management system.
- You have at least 3 years of experience in work that has included tools for vehicle documentation, maintenance, and status monitoring of railway vehicles.
- You have at least 3 years of experience in the management of railway vehicles.
- You have very good knowledge of the Office package.
- You express yourself very well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have good knowledge of English, both orally and in writing.
- You work in a structured and careful manner, take initiative, and drive your work independently.
- You have good analytical skills, business understanding, and very good collaboration and communication skills.
- Technical knowledge of the current vehicle fleet and its management.
- Practical experience, preferably supplemented with training, in CSM-RA and its application.
- A well-established network around Itino, for example within material and maintenance services.
- Experience of implementing changes in FORD.
- Practical experience of working in a depot environment.
- More than 3 years of experience from working with the train type Itino.
- Experience of leading smaller projects or sub-projects.
- Knowledge of German, both orally and in writing.
