Do you want to work in a vital societal function where safety, problem-solving, and traffic flow are the focus?
The assistance company is now looking for flatbed tow truck drivers for roadside assistance assignments in Scania (Skåne), primarily executed on behalf of the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket). The operations will take place along the major motorways in southwestern Scania, with the mission to quickly and safely assist motorists while contributing to increased traffic safety and flow.

The positions are based from Malmö to Helsingborg with a planned operational start on September 1, 2026.
About the role
As a tow truck driver, you work operationally on the road network and are responsible for towing, assistance, and handling of vehicles in the event of breakdowns, accidents, and other traffic-related incidents involving both light and heavy vehicles. You are a key part of the work to create safer and more accessible roads and often work in close proximity to ongoing traffic where safety and professionalism are crucial.
The work involves significant personal responsibility and requires you to make calm and correct decisions even under time pressure. The role suits you if you are solution-oriented, technically knowledgeable, and enjoy independent work where no two days are alike.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Towing and transporting light and heavy vehicles
- Assistance during breakdowns, accidents, and traffic incidents
- Winching, securing, and handling damaged or stationary vehicles
- Collaboration with police, rescue services, and the Swedish Transport Administration
- Traffic securing and working in hazardous traffic environments
- Documentation and reporting of completed assignments
- Daily inspection, supervision, and maintenance of vehicles and equipment
- Service and support to motorists on-site
We are looking for someone who
- Has a C or CE driver's license
- Has a valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC/YKB)
- Has experience in heavy traffic or towing operations
- Is confident working in traffic environments and near moving traffic
- Speaks and writes Swedish fluently
- Has basic computer skills
- Is responsible, solution-oriented, and stress-resistant
- Has a professional and service-oriented attitude
- Is meticulous and cares about keeping vehicles and equipment in good condition
- Thrives in both independent work and teamwork
It is an advantage if you also have:
- Experience with heavy towing
- CE license qualification
- APV training (Advanced Professional Vehicle driver)
- ADR training (Dangerous Goods)
- Training in CPR and first aid
- Experience working on roads or within the rescue/transport sector
