Do you want to work in a vital public service where safety, security, and traffic flow are the focus?

Our assistance company is now looking for drivers for TMA (Truck Mounted Attenuator) vehicles for roadside assistance assignments in Skåne, carried out on behalf of the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket). The operations will take place along the major motorways in southwestern Skåne, with the mission to quickly and safely assist road users while contributing to increased traffic safety and mobility.

The positions are based in Malmö and Helsingborg, with an expected start date of September 1, 2026.

About the role

As a TMA driver, you work operationally on the road network and are a key part of creating safer and more accessible roads. You work in close proximity to traffic incidents, stationary vehicles, and other situations where a rapid presence and professional handling are crucial.

The role involves significant personal responsibility and requires you to make calm and correct decisions even in high-pressure situations. This role suits you if you are service-oriented, safety-conscious, and enjoy independent work where no two days are alike.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Patrolling designated road networks
  • Protection and warning at traffic incidents and stationary vehicles
  • TMA protection during emergency road closures and obstacles
  • Service and support to road users on-site
  • Support for rescue services and ambulances in traffic-related incidents
  • Clearing obstacles and simple road maintenance measures
  • Initiating vehicle recovery and short-distance towing
  • First aid interventions when needed
  • Inspection and maintenance of vehicles and equipment

We are looking for someone who

  • Has a Category C driver's license and a valid Certificate of Professional Competence (YKB)
  • Is confident working in traffic environments and near moving traffic
  • Speaks and writes Swedish fluently
  • Has good knowledge of English
  • Is proficient with computers
  • Has good local knowledge of Skåne
  • Is responsible, solution-oriented, and stress-resistant
  • Demonstrates a professional and service-oriented attitude
  • Is meticulous and takes care to keep vehicles and equipment in good condition
  • Enjoys both independent work and teamwork

The following qualifications are meritorious:

  • Experience in roadside assistance, recovery, construction, or traffic control
  • APV 1.1–1.3 and 2.1–2.2 certifications
  • Training in CPR and defibrillator use
  • ADR training
