Responsibilities

The working hours are scheduled in two shifts, involving cutting processing and manufacturing of parts made of stainless and acid-resistant steel. A day at work includes, among other things, setup and operation of CNC machines, inspection, control measurement, reading drawings, tool adjustments, as well as periodic maintenance and servicing of the machines.

We are looking for you who

We are looking for you who have education and/or industrial experience with CNC-controlled machines, knowledge of reading drawings, metrology, program adjustment, and proficiency in Swedish (both spoken and written). As a person, you are quality-conscious, focused, eager to learn more and develop, and a good team player. You thrive in an independent and responsible role. The position is intended as a temporary-to-permanent hire (contract recruitment), but direct employment may be considered if the right competence and experience are present. We are today represented in most industries and have representatives worldwide. Somas headquarters and workshop are located in their own premises in Säffle. It is a family business owned by the Hägg family. Jan Dahlén is the CEO and Mats Nilsson is the Deputy CEO. Peter Hägg and Lars Hägg are owners and active in the board. The headquarters can be found along the E45, approx. 60 km south of Karlstad.
