The company was founded in 1965. Today, they have over 170 employees and more than 100 trucks driving on the roads in large parts of southern Sweden, with their base in Smålandsstenar.
Västbo Transport primarily performs transport assignments for DSV Road AB and manages DSV's distribution traffic in the region. They have a new and modern transport facility built in 2013. It is a secure employer that offers you a good working environment and a strong sense of community. Salaries and terms are in accordance with collective agreements.
You are a responsible and experienced terminal worker with experience in loading and unloading vehicles. You thrive in physical work and have good physical stamina. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues, where you work proactively and contribute to the planning of daily work. You are service-oriented and enjoy juggling multiple tasks.
The work is mixed with simple administrative tasks, meaning you need basic computer skills. At the same time, you are comfortable working independently. We prefer that you have previous experience in terminal work and cargo handling. The role mainly involves driving counterbalance forklifts.
The working hours are shift-based.
During the first week, you work Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 06:00–17:00, and Tuesday and Thursday 06:00–11:00.
During the second week, you work Monday–Friday 12:00–20:30.
Qualifications:
- Category B driver's license (may involve driving package cars).
- Forklift license A1–A4 and B1–B4.
- Own car, as public transport connections can be difficult.
- Computer proficiency for order management.
- Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.
