We are looking for a Project Manager and Investigator for qualitative follow-up of zero-emission system demonstrations for the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket).

This is a consulting assignment that can be performed from several locations around Sweden, as the assignment involves travel and site visits to various projects across the country.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The role involves qualitative follow-up of Trafikverket's system demonstrations for zero-emission construction machinery and zero-emission vehicles in contracts. The assignment includes analysis, interview studies, report writing, and experience feedback from various projects around Sweden. The work is carried out in close cooperation with Trafikverket and includes both strategic and operational work within sustainable contracting and zero-emission solutions.

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall delivery, development of the implementation plan, analyses, conclusions, final reporting, and coordination with Trafikverket. The Investigator is primarily responsible for conducting interviews, site visits, and contributing to report writing and follow-up work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative follow-ups of system demonstrations within contracting
• Conduct interview studies with Trafikverket, contractors, and machine operators
• Conduct site visits and interviews in various projects around Sweden
• Develop an implementation plan for the follow-up work
• Compile reports for each system demonstration
• Produce a final report with analyses, conclusions, and experience feedback
• Participate in coordination and follow-up meetings with Trafikverket
• Analyze experiences from zero-emission construction machinery and zero-emission vehicles
• Contribute to method development and qualitative analysis within sustainable contracting
• Document and present results from conducted follow-ups

Requirements (OBS, mandatory)

Project Manager:

• Relevant higher education degree (e.g., environmental science, urban planning, transport, statistics, political science, or similar) or other education combined with experience deemed equivalent by Trafikverket.
• At least 7 years of competence in evaluation or analysis assignments.
• Documented experience in analytical follow-up or evaluation of operations or projects.
• Documented experience in writing reports, analyses, or evaluations.
• Documented experience in qualitative methods (e.g., interviews, focus groups, thematic analysis).
• Documented experience in contracting and construction projects (e.g., design, follow-up, practical implementation).
• Documented experience in heavy zero-emission trucks and/or zero-emission construction machinery.
• At least 5 years of experience in assignment and project management.

Investigator:

• Relevant higher education degree (e.g., environmental science, urban planning, transport, statistics, political science, or similar) or other education combined with at least 2 years of experience deemed equivalent by Trafikverket.
• Documented experience in qualitative methods (e.g., interviews, focus groups, thematic analysis).
• Documented experience in contracting and construction projects (e.g., design, follow-up, practical implementation, analysis, interviews) or heavy zero-emission trucks and/or zero-emission construction machinery (e.g., follow-up, analysis, interviews).
