Job Responsibilities
We are currently looking for hourly substitute staff who can step in as needed throughout the year for a male service user in Örnsköldsvik. The service user is deafblind and needs staff with knowledge of sign language and preferably tactile sign language. The work involves providing support in daily life – everything from communication, assistance with certain household chores, guidance, and personal care to social activities. Working hours are during daytime on weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is responsible, has a good attitude towards people, and the ability to adapt to different situations. As a personal assistant, you work in our service users' homes, so we expect you to have a good and respectful attitude as well as strong empathetic skills. Previous experience with dementia diseases and personal assistance is meritorious but not necessary. The most important thing is that you want to make a difference and have the right attitude.
Requirements:
- Sign language skills, tactile sign language is meritorious
- Must be 18 years or older
- Proficiency in Swedish

We appreciate language skills in Finnish and/or any of the Sami varieties as Örnsköldsvik Municipality is part of both the Finnish and Sami administrative areas.
In our municipality, a number of positions are classified for security reasons, so security clearance may be required. These positions may require Swedish citizenship.
