Expression of Interest Ahead of Traffic Start in Uppsala 2026

In preparation for the traffic start on November 2, 2026, we at Västanhede Traffic in Uppsala are looking for you who are interested in working as a service driver within service traffic.

We want to connect with future employees who wish to help build the business together with us. The positions may cover full-time, part-time, or need-based employment depending on the operational needs.

About the Role

As a service driver at Västanhede, you will meet people of different ages and with different needs. We perform trips within school transport, door-to-door service (färdtjänst), and medical transport, where safety, service, and professional treatment are the focus.

We assist passengers in and out of vehicles and use aids such as stair climbers or stretchers for certain trips. Traffic runs during all hours of the day, and our journeys take us both within and outside the county's borders, from private homes to healthcare facilities and schools.

We are looking for you who

To thrive in the role of a service driver, we believe you are service-oriented, responsible, and social. You have a good ability to meet people where they are in life, from children to pensioners.

The work involves active tasks where aids such as stair climbers and stretchers are used for certain assignments, which requires that you are not afraid to help out where needed.

To be considered for the position, you need:

• A valid taxi driver's license
• Good command of Swedish in speech and writing
• Flexibility and a welcoming attitude

Training and driver certification will be conducted before the traffic start for drivers who become relevant for assignments.
