Biltema Logistics is a logistics company with around 600 employees whose main task is to store and supply Biltema's stores with goods. Biltema Logistics has 6 warehouses that send goods to all Biltema stores in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland. Biltema Logistics has seen significant growth since 2007, making us one of Halland's largest employers.

We are now looking for a summer substitute truck driver to strengthen our internal transport department during the summer!

As a truck driver at Biltema Logistics, you have overall responsibility for assigned transports between our central warehouses, suppliers, and stores. You work closely with transport coordinators, warehouse operations, and receiving stores to ensure high delivery precision and good service.

The work is always carried out in accordance with current traffic and professional traffic legislation, driving and rest time regulations, as well as Biltema Logistics' routines and quality requirements. The role involves both independent responsibility and close collaboration with other functions.

Your tasks include among other things:

• Distribution driving from central warehouse to store according to established driving schedules

• Transfer driving between warehouses

• Container/chassis driving to some extent

• Loading and unloading at warehouses and in stores

• Handling of transport documents and digital reporting

• You are responsible for your own vehicle, which implies daily inspection of the vehicle and responsibility for the equipment being maintained and handled carefully

• Reporting of deviations, damages, or operational disruptions

• Ongoing dialogue with transport management for efficient planning and capacity utilization

• Professional treatment of store staff and other receivers

Practical information

Introduction to truck driving is planned for week 25 and includes one week of training where you ride with an ordinary driver. Planned driving weeks are w.25-w.29.

After the driving period, there is an opportunity for continued work in a combined role as a warehouse worker and truck driver if needed. Possibility for this combined role as truck driver and warehouse employee is w.23-24 & w.30-33.

For those interested in the combined position, there is an opportunity to start work one week earlier for introduction and training in warehouse work.

You need

• CE license and valid YKB (Certificate of Professional Competence)

• ADR section with valid ADR certificate

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• Digital driver card
