The Administrative Office of the Municipal Executive Board

The Administrative Office of the Municipal Executive Board works on behalf of the Municipal Executive Board. We lead, steer, support, and follow up so that the entire municipality is driven efficiently and purposefully. In total, we have approximately 400 employees distributed across five departments. About the position

One of the Stockholm region's most exciting urban development projects is being planned in Huddinge – Tramway South. As part of the Sweden Deals, the tramway is to connect two regional city centers; Flemingsberg and Skärholmen. The project enables 15,500 new homes and strengthens sustainable development in the region. In this project manager role, you will become a central actor in leading and coordinating Huddinge's work with the project, both internally and in collaboration with external actors such as the Traffic Administration, the Swedish Transport Administration, and the City of Stockholm. In addition to this project, participation in another project may become relevant, or alternatively contribute to internal development work, etc.

The Tramway South project is led by the Traffic Administration, Region Stockholm in collaboration with the City of Stockholm and Huddinge Municipality.

As a project manager at the Street Project Section, you will:

• Lead Huddinge's internal project organization for Tramway South, responsible for ensuring the project is carried out according to schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with external parties (e.g., Traffic Administration, consultants, contractors, etc.) to drive the project forward and ensure that agreements and understandings are followed.
• Handle complex contractual processes, including the preparation of cooperation agreements and implementation agreements.
• Contribute to the preparation of the railway plan. Monitor and collaborate with the municipality's urban development projects in the Tramway vicinity to ensure good goal achievement for both Tramway South and the municipality's urban development projects.
• Adapt and plan work in a dynamic environment with many stakeholders, where the ability to handle changes and pressure is crucial.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a project manager with documented experience of large infrastructure projects who can navigate complex organizations and drive projects from idea to implementation. To succeed in the role, we believe you have previous experience working in a leading position in a large infrastructure project as well as experience in the client role within state, regional, or municipal administration. You have drawn up and followed up on agreements, and have experience of negotiation.

You have a post-secondary education of at least 3 years in a relevant area. If you have experience working with the preparation of railway plans and/or urban development projects, it is meritorious.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualifications. We believe it is important that you are good at collaborating and building relationships while having a good ability to influence and affect others' opinions.

To thrive in the role, you need to have a high degree of adaptability as the conditions change quickly and often in this type of project. You plan and organize your work effectively to achieve the project's goals.

It is meritorious if you have experience of the production phase in infrastructure projects.
