About the role

Adapteo is the leading provider in the Nordics of flexible, modular, and sustainable building solutions, ranging from offices and schools to housing and healthcare facilities. The company builds adaptable structures that can be scaled up, scaled down, moved, or reused. Adapteo uses a circular business model that extends the lifespan of modules, uses resources efficiently, and minimizes the carbon footprint, with a focus on reuse, resource efficiency, and fossil-free transport.

Adapteo is currently building a new, state-of-the-art facility in Uppsala. This investment brings the workshop, warehouse, offices, and showroom under one roof and will be a key part of the company's future production and growth. As a warehouse employee, you will play a key role in warehouse and logistics, responsible for maintaining order in material flows, inventory balances, and inbound and outbound deliveries. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse systems, administrative handling, and process efficiency, while also working practically with forklift driving and material handling. You will become an important part of a team where everyone helps each other, shares ideas, and contributes to continuous improvements. A typical day begins with the team gathering to review the day's plan together with colleagues and supervisors. Throughout the day, you collaborate closely with your colleagues, learn new tasks, share ideas, and contribute to process improvements. The role is varied and developmental; you continuously build your competence and take responsibility. The work initially takes place at Adapteo's hub in Enköping, but eventually, everything will move to the new state-of-the-art facility in Uppsala, where you will be part of an exciting growth journey.

Responsibilities

• Work in business systems with purchasing, inbound deliveries, and inventory status
• Handle incoming and outgoing goods, arrival checks, booking of freight, etc.
• Drive materials into the workshop from the warehouse using a forklift
• Drive materials from production to recycling
• Responsible for emptying containers
• Assist on the yard during the arrival and pickup of modules
• Contribute to improvements in workflows and routines together with colleagues
• Participate in the setup and organization of the warehouse in the new facility in Uppsala
• Be involved in training new employees as the team grows, together with the supervisor and hub manager

We are looking for you who

• Have experience in warehouse work with a focus on administrative handling and systems
• Are an experienced forklift driver (Forklift license A4 & B1) and confident in forklift operation
• Have good computer skills and experience working in inventory balance systems
• Are organized, structured, and solution-oriented
• Enjoy working in a team and are flat-hierarchy; you help out where needed
• Have self-drive, take responsibility, and dare to drive improvements
• Are flexible and appreciate a varied daily routine with change and development

It is meritorious, but not a requirement, if you have:

• License 3A for lifts/mobile platforms (1-day training can be offered if needed)
• Experience in large-scale material handling
