Do you want a responsible and developmental job within the process industry where you can combine technology, quality, and improvement work? We are now looking for a Process Manager at Proton Finishing Anderstorp – a role for you who is meticulous, analytical, and wants to contribute to long-term development.

About the role

As a Process Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring stable operations and high quality in the production processes. You are responsible for ensuring that processes meet requirements regarding chemistry, quality, environment, and safety, and you will continuously work on improvements and optimization.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Leading change and improvement work within the processes.
  • Ensuring that process changes occur according to established procedures and contributing to a uniform introduction of new chemistry.
  • Continuously monitoring costs for direct materials and working towards set budget goals.
  • Analyzing and working to minimize downtime and rework through root cause analysis, as well as planning and following up on actions within the production group.
  • Performing internal analyses according to the analysis schedule and taking necessary actions based on analysis results.
  • Responsible for ordering and storing chemicals, ensuring that destruction and follow-up are carried out according to regulatory requirements and established procedures.
  • Responsible for water sampling of outgoing water and reporting and following up on results according to the unit's environmental permit.
  • Driving development and maintenance of all processes in consultation with the nearest manager.
  • Contributing to high operational safety and quality throughout the entire production line through a structured and disciplined work approach.

  • Experienced in chemistry, surface treatment, or the process industry
  • Structured and systematic

  • Analytical and solution-oriented
  • Not afraid to get involved or get dirty at work
  • Aware of quality and the environment with a clear drive to improve and optimize

You must be able to communicate in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

Merits:

  • Basic knowledge of occupational health and environmental legislation
  • Experience working in ED bath surface treatment
  • Experience with LEAN/TPM and systematic improvement work
