About Us

Humana Björnö in Norrtälje opened in September 2021. Björnö is a residence with a total of 60 places, focusing on dementia and somatic care, including for people under 65 years of age.

About the Position

We are now looking for hourly paid nurses who, together with a happy and competent team consisting of care assistants, assistant nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, group leaders, HSL responsible nurse/acting operations manager, and operations manager, want to develop and drive the work based on our core values.

As a nurse, you have an important role in coordinating the elderly person's total need for health and medical care. You cover for the regular nurse during short-term absences or work peaks. You work in a team with care staff, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, and you lead and coach the staff. You collaborate with the responsible doctor, relatives/near ones, assistance handlers, and other stakeholders.

Job Description

As an hourly paid nurse at Björnö, you will, among other things, be responsible for planning, implementing, following up, and evaluating care measures. You are also an important part of the development of the operations and your colleagues' competence, as you also supervise the care staff when needed. We are all a team with different professional categories who work closely with our residents and take responsibility for providing the best care.

Examples of tasks:

• Perform independent assessments, medical treatments, and care interventions
• Handle and follow up on documentation
• Medication management

Working hours and degree of employment: Hourly paid during the day as needed.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting, other compensations according to collective agreement.

Start date: According to agreement.

For this position, it is required that you:

• are a licensed nurse
• have knowledge of documenting in medical record systems (ICF or VIPS)

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience working in elderly care or home help services
• Experience working with people with dementia
• Experience documenting in SafeDoc
• Accustomed to working in various systems such as Google

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID and any documents proving the right to work in Sweden, as well as extracts from the criminal record.
