Åkerblads Inn, Hotel & Spa is a family-owned hotel business located in the beautiful Tällberg, Dalarna. The estate has been in the Åkerblad family's possession since the 1400s, and today, the 19th to 22nd generations of the Åkerblad family work together with a strong team of 40 employees to provide guests with a memorable experience. Experiences are our keyword; this is what we convey to guests from the moment they check in until they long to return to the sparkling waters of Lake Siljan. Our goal is to deliver a unique product, reflected not only in the historic premises but also in the hotel's 73 guest rooms, all personally furnished and unique in their own way. Our restaurant works with locally produced ingredients and personal flavors, for both conference guests and weekend visitors.

Our latest addition to the company is our Spa department, where we offer 3 therapy rooms, 1 duo treatment room, 1 hydrotherapy bath, and a spa suite with its own jacuzzi and sauna. Alongside the Spa department, we also have a newly built gym and completely newly renovated, exclusive changing rooms with a sauna.

The hotel is currently classified as a four-star hotel and has its sights set on continuous development, where quality and service are the key words.

About the position…

As a cleaner during the summer, you will be part of a team consisting of both permanent and temporary staff.

You will primarily clean and prepare hotel rooms and common areas in the dining room, hotel & SPA. Handling and washing of towels and linen is also part of the role.

The cleaning covers both guests departing from the hotel and customers staying with us for several nights. Making beds, polishing surfaces, and cleaning are daily tasks.

As we are mainly visited by couples and are a quiet hotel without events, the cleaning is generally of a lighter nature and largely involves caring for the exclusive interior, which is a recurring theme throughout the hotel.

You will have recurring contact with the hotel reception and often meet guests in your work.

The work is scheduled for mornings and days, as all hotel rooms must be ready by 15:00 for new guests and their experiences.

About you…

You are energetic, cheerful, and love working with people in the service industry.

If you have previously worked as a cleaner, it is an advantage, but not a requirement to apply for the position. We will train you internally if you lack the knowledge we are looking for.

A requirement for the position is that you can communicate in Swedish or English.

The position is a full-time employment where the start date is by agreement. Most importantly for us is that we find the right employee, and therefore we are flexible regarding the start date.
