We are currently looking for a press brake operator/press operator for a well-established manufacturing family business with roots dating back to the 1960s. The company is a leader in the manufacture of road barriers, road lighting, poles, masts, and railings. With the entire process from raw material to finished treated product under one roof, they offer a unique holistic solution.

Their areas of expertise include hot-dip galvanizing, painting, welding, and assembly. All production takes place from their facility in Smålandsstenar, where the third generation of the family runs the business. The entire material flow, from raw material to finished hot-dip galvanized product, is manufactured under the same roof.

Your Responsibilities

As a press brake operator/press operator, you work with the manufacturing and forming of sheet metal according to technical drawings. You are responsible for setting up and operating the press brake and press, as well as ensuring that parts meet the correct quality and dimensions. The work is carried out in close collaboration with your colleagues in production.

The machinery includes handling bending lengths up to 6.2 meters and a pressing force of 800 tons.

You will be responsible for:

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Setting up and adjusting machines
• Ensuring parts meet correct dimensions and quality
• Performing ongoing quality controls
• Contributing to an efficient and structured production flow

The work requires attention to detail, technical interest, and a sense of precision.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with experience in panel/press brake bending and familiarity with reading technical drawings. You are quality-conscious, responsible, and comfortable working both independently and in a team. A positive attitude and a desire for long-term development are desirable. To thrive in this role, you must have crane and forklift licenses, as well as good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Employment Terms

The intention with this assignment is to start as a temporary placement via J1 Bemanning, with a transition to direct employment with the client company. Working hours are scheduled during daytime.
