About Kullen

Kullen's nursing home is located at Ekerö center, where you can take a walk towards the canal or Ekebyhov Castle Park. In Ekerö C, there are several shops and cafés for a good coffee break. There are a total of 82 apartments here for people in need of permanent housing. Kullen is a Silvius-certified residence. The Silvius certification means that all permanent staff working with us have undergone special dementia training based on the palliative care philosophy. Kullen SÄBO offers care within both somatics and dementia.

About the role

As a physiotherapist, you are part of a team together with occupational therapists, nurses, and care staff. Together, your task is to provide quality of life. You see every individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs.

In the role of physiotherapist, you find, together with the residents, the best ways to use their own abilities in everyday life. You support and motivate the individuals to develop and maintain their mobility themselves. This often involves:

  • Investigating/assessing/treating the residents' movement problems and functional impairments

  • Trial fitting and prescribing medical aids

  • Working preventively by educating other employees about transfer techniques to avoid strain injuries.

  • Leading our very popular group training sessions.

  • Being part of the BPSD team.
