About the Role

This is a long-term full-time consulting assignment starting in September 2026. The assignment is initially for 12 months with the possibility of extension up to two years. You will be employed by Bravura and work as a consultant at Dagab.

💼 Responsibilities

In the role of Prepress Specialist, you become part of Dagab's design team with a focus on own brands. The role is operational and primarily involves updating and adapting existing packaging designs. You work closely with internal teams, print houses, and external suppliers to ensure that all material maintains high quality and is technically correct prior to production.

Main responsibilities:

• Update and adapt existing packaging originals according to briefs and product requirements
• Create, quality assure, and deliver print files according to the print house's specifications
• Responsible for color management and ensuring correct color reproduction
• Ensure files are technically correct prior to printing
• Handle and quality assure fonts
• Maintain ongoing contact with print houses and external suppliers as needed
• Responsible for archiving original files

🔍 Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities

• Experience working as a Prepress Specialist, preferably with a focus on packaging design
• Very good knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, primarily Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
• Good understanding of printing technology, prepress, and different printing processes
• Good knowledge of color profiles and printing standards
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Experience with different packaging materials such as cardboard, plastic, and labels is a plus
• Experience working in brand-controlled layout systems as well as experience with proofing workflows and print approvals is a plus

As a person, you are meticulous, structured, and responsible. You have a technical interest and an eye for detail while thriving in working within clear processes and guidelines. Furthermore, you are collaborative and feel confident in dialogue with both print houses and colleagues in the design process.
