About the role

As a Production Associate, you are a key player in the manufacturing process. You will work with varied tasks that ensure our client's products maintain the highest quality and are delivered to customers on time. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues and production management.

Academic Work is now looking for additional team members for our existing student pool. Our client is a qualified and skilled food producer with a flexible operation. Today, approximately 100 tons of mayonnaise, mustard, and sauces are produced every week, and you can find their products in supermarkets, restaurants, hamburger chains, and gas stations. During the terms, you will work part-time and are expected to be available for about two shifts per week, with more availability during the summer and Christmas periods.

Working hours

Day shifts: 05:54–14:30
Evening shifts: 14:20–23:46
Weekdays only.

The position is a consultancy assignment through Academic Work. You will be part of a student pool where you submit your availability week by week and are scheduled for shifts accordingly. You will have frequent contact with Academic Work's Staffing Service, which is responsible for recording your availability and managing scheduling. You have a significant responsibility to input your availability every week and maintain good communication with the Staffing Service, your Consultant Manager, and the client.

Responsibilities

The role involves performing various production tasks to ensure an efficient and high-quality manufacturing process from start to finish.

• Packaging of goods
• Operating mixing machines
• Working on a bottling line
• Maintaining cleanliness and tidying up – for example, empty cartons and cans

We are looking for someone who

• Is studying at a post-secondary level for at least 1 year ahead
• Is available to work two days a week + more during summer and Christmas
• Has a background in hospitality, food handling, or similar
• Speaks and writes Swedish fluently, as this is required for daily work

The work involves handling food, which places high demands on hygiene. The role may also require you to be in good physical shape.

It is an advantage if you have

• Some form of warehouse or production experience
• Counterbalance forklift license
