Aston Harald Mekaniska Verkstad is growing, and we are now looking for experienced CNC operators for one of our lathe departments.

Aston Harald Mekaniska Verkstad is a production partner for customers within marine, defense, space, and industrial systems. This means working with complex components where high demands are placed on quality, traceability, and precision.

About the job

This is a job for you who know the trade, enjoy responsibility, and want to work in a modern workshop where people, quality, and long-term sustainability are taken seriously.

You will work with our larger lathes in a team where trust and collaboration are central. The work involves:

• ensuring that started machines run stably and with the correct quality
• monitoring one or more machines in parallel
• measuring, checking, and documenting according to the control plan
• performing operator maintenance and contributing to improvements

This is work that requires precision, judgment, and professional pride – not just “standing and feeding bits”.

Who we think you are

You have worked a few years in a workshop and:

• have workshop training and experience with shaft turning
• can read drawings and use measuring techniques
• have a crane operator license (traverskort)
• are quality-conscious, responsible, and solution-oriented
