About Us
Arbetarebostadsfonden is Sweden's oldest housing foundation. The foundation was established in Stockholm as early as 1853 with the goal of providing workers in Stockholm with safe and pleasant housing. Today, after more than a century and a half of operations, the foundation owns and manages approximately 2,000 rental apartments in central Stockholm, southern and western suburbs, on Lidingö, in Vällingby, Bromma, and Hökarängen.

About the Role
As a Building Manager (Husvärd), you are a crucial link between our tenants and the property management. Your workplace is in Söderberga, where you receive fault reports and are responsible for follow-up actions and feedback to tenants. You patrol the buildings to ensure they are in good condition, perform repairs, preventive measures, and maintenance. As a Building Manager, you work closely with the management and contribute your knowledge to suggest future maintenance for the properties.

Common Tasks:

• Patrolling the buildings
• Ongoing contact with our tenants
• Performing corrective actions as well as care, repairs, and maintenance of the buildings
• Some contact and ordering of services from contractors
• Actively working on proposals for the maintenance plan for the buildings

About You
To succeed in the role of Building Manager with us, we see that you have a technical background and have worked, for example, as a carpenter, plumber, technician, or similar. You are a handy person with a great interest in technology.

You are a social team player who can work independently and in a group. You feel a strong personal responsibility for your tasks and are driven by delivering a high level of service to our tenants. You are self-starting, see what needs to be done in the buildings, and are happy to bring your own ideas and solutions to create the best possible living environment for our tenants.

Your qualifications include:

• Relevant technical background
• Driver's license (Category B)
• Good communication skills in Swedish
• Ability to handle various property management systems
• Knowledge of other languages (meritorious)
