Your assignment

Are you interested in working with sewage pumping stations, water treatment plants, pressure boosting stations, and water towers? Then the role of Operations Technician for Water and Environment (VA) might be for you.

As an operations technician with us, you help ensure the delivery of clean drinking water and that wastewater is handled in a safe and sustainable manner. You work closely with both colleagues and contractors and play a key role in keeping our facilities running 24/7.

The work is varied and includes both planned and emergency interventions. You perform inspections, operational monitoring, and preventive maintenance, and work on troubleshooting and corrective actions during operational disruptions. You also participate in projects, improvement work, and follow-up on the functionality of the facilities. Sampling, controls, and documentation in our systems are a natural part of everyday life.

Since our facilities contain a lot of electricity and automation, it is an advantage if you have knowledge or interest in these areas.

On-call duty is included in the position.

Your background

To fit the role, you have:

• knowledge in operations and maintenance technology
• a couple of years of professional experience in a similar field
• education as an operations technician or experience working in Water and Environment (VA).

You need to have:

• good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• experience working in digital systems such as Office
• a valid B-driver's license (required for this position).

It is an advantage if you have experience with control and regulation technology, work within HVAC/plumbing (VVS), or other technical background in water and environmental technology.

The position may be subject to background checks and security clearance.
