We are looking for a machine operator to join a dynamic team of experienced operators at our facility in Forshaga. You will work within the Packaging Materials Division and report to a shift-based Production Manager. We look forward to receiving your application!

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a machine operator at Stora Enso in Forshaga, the work is performed in shift teams of approximately 14 people, where tasks are managed in smaller machine teams. Together, you handle the conversion of cardboard rolls to meet specific customer requirements. Since the team rotates between different tasks, it is important that you are a good team player, enjoy physical work, understand processes, and can handle various control systems. Our unit in Forshaga coats cardboard with barriers, and approximately 100 people work here. Our customers primarily use the cardboard for food packaging. This is an exciting opportunity for you who want to further develop your professional skills and work towards a sustainable future. Working hours are distributed across days, evenings, and nights according to a rotating schedule.

PERSONAL QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

We believe that you, as a candidate, are a flexible team player with a positive attitude who is determined to develop yourself and your work forward, always keeping safety in mind. You enjoy solving problems and can analyze information, report, and contribute to improvements based on your analysis and observations. To succeed in this role, we believe you have a technical upper secondary education or post-secondary education in areas such as process technology or operations technology, or experience considered equivalent. You have good IT skills and are proficient in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Since the position involves shift work, it is a prerequisite that you are available for irregular working hours and weekends. A valid driver's license is required.
