About the role

As a machine operator for our client in Fittja, you will be part of a team responsible for the operation and maintenance of the facility's machinery. The role involves driving and maintaining heavy machinery, performing daily safety checks, and collaborating closely with colleagues to ensure an efficient and safe workflow. The position is full-time and starts immediately upon agreement.

Responsibilities

• Drive and maneuver various types of construction machinery (e.g., excavator, wheel loader, depending on the assignment).
• Perform daily checks and basic maintenance on machinery.
• Ensure that work areas are safe and that safety procedures are followed.
• Load and unload materials and assist with loading onto vehicles.
• Document work performed and report any deviations to the site supervisor.

Who we are looking for

• Responsible, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.
• Thrives in practical work and in varying outdoor environments.
• Able to collaborate well in a team and take initiative when needed.
• Fluent in Swedish (both spoken and written).

Requirements

• Valid machine operator certificate or equivalent qualification for the relevant machinery types.
• Experience operating heavy construction machinery.
• Valid Class B driver's license.
• Ability to follow safety routines and use personal protective equipment.

Merits

• Experience with service and basic maintenance of machinery.
• Experience from civil engineering/construction work or recycling operations.

Working hours and location

• Location: Fittja
• Scope: Full-time
• Working hours: Varying daytime hours, weekend work may occur.
