Occupational Therapist at Forenede Care Uppsala Home Care

We are growing rapidly and need to expand our team with an additional occupational therapist.

Forenede Care provides home nursing services on behalf of Uppsala Municipality, catering to individuals aged 65+. We work with a person-centered approach within interdisciplinary teams, collaborating with physiotherapists, nurses, and care staff. Here, you will receive close support from both colleagues and management, with opportunities to influence and develop in your role.

Your Role

As an occupational therapist in home care, you will have a varied and independent role where you will, among other things:

• Conduct ADL (Activities of Daily Living) and mobility assessments
• Assess the need for housing adaptations
• Prescribe and trial assistive devices
• Support care recipients in maintaining and developing their abilities
• Mentor care staff and participate in care planning

You will become a key person in the team and work closely with “your” home care group.

Who are you?

• Licensed Occupational Therapist
• Experience with elderly care and home rehabilitation is preferred
• Can work independently and thrive in a team
• Solution-focused, confident, and has a warm and professional attitude towards people
• Valid Class B driver’s license

Job Description

We are currently seeking an occupational therapist for a permanent position with a 6-month probation period, with an employment level of 80-100%.
