Åkerblads Hotel & Inn is a family-owned business that has been in the family since the 1400s. Today, the 19th–22nd generation of the Åkerblad family works with a strong team of 50 people to offer guests an unforgettable experience.

Åkerblads Hotel & Inn consists of 73 unique and personally decorated guest rooms as well as an Inn that offers locally produced raw ingredients of high standard and class for both weekend guests and conference guests. The hotel is currently classified with four stars and has a focus on constant development where quality is one of the cornerstones.

Our latest addition to the company is our Spa Department, where we offer 3 therapist rooms, 1 duo treatment room, 1 hydrotherapy bath, and a spa suite with its own jacuzzi and sauna. The spa department also offers a newly built section with an outdoor spring and lounge area where the pool bar offers refreshment for guests. The gym, sauna, and exclusive changing rooms have now been joined by a completely new pool area with a hydro-massage pool and swimming pool, as well as wonderful relaxation areas.

Your Responsibilities...

As a skin and spa therapist, you work in our spa department performing treatments according to our SPA menu. Our SPA team works with products from Maria Åkerberg and BABOR. Experience and knowledge of these products are seen as meritorious but not a requirement. We also provide internal training on our treatment offerings and products.

Our customers are primarily hotel guests who visit our hotel and wish to enjoy relaxing treatments.

The position includes, in addition to performing treatments, product sales in our shop and providing refreshments to SPA guests in the waiting lounge.

Working hours are varied and adjusted according to the SPA department's opening hours.

As an employee at Åkerblads, we expect you to carry out your work with great engagement and creativity. Furthermore, that you have a pronounced sense of quality and service as well as a genuine interest in working with people, primarily our guests, but also colleagues and coworkers.

You express energy through clear and dynamic body language and a positive aura. We believe you are full of ideas and equipped with a large portion of curiosity.

We see that your formal background is as an authorized skin therapist and spa therapist. We would like you to have experience in the spa, wellness, or health sector, and it is important that you can take initiative and are willing to work weekends.

You communicate fluently in Swedish and English.
