About the role

As a Frontend & Mobile Developer, you will play a central role in modernizing our client's existing codebase and ensuring that the products are scalable and maintainable. You will work with both web and mobile applications, contribute your expertise, and act as a mentor to strengthen the team's competence. The role requires a helicopter view combined with a willingness to dive deep into technical details.

Responsibilities

The role involves both strategic architecture work and practical development to address technical debt and build robust, maintainable solutions for our Mesh and VPN products. You will balance refactoring existing code with mentoring and technology selection for future development.

• Lead the architectural overhaul of the existing frontend (Petite Vue).
• Develop and implement solutions for web applications with limited hardware prerequisites.
• Perform refactoring and best practice review of the existing React Native app.
• Mentor and train internal team members in app and frontend development.
• Identify and propose technology swaps for long-term maintainability.

We are looking for someone who

• Has advanced knowledge of React Native and app development.
• Has knowledge of Vue, preferably Petite Vue.
• Has experience successfully launching apps on the App Store and Google Play.
• Has a good understanding of the app approval processes at Apple and Google.
• Has experience in web development with limited footprint/embedded-like environments.
• Has the ability to understand and adapt to environments where standard frameworks are not optimal.
• Is self-reliant and confident in a senior role, with the ability to analyze problems and propose solutions.
• Has experience building and maintaining software over time.
• Has Swedish citizenship / valid work permit and residence permit.

This role requires a passed security clearance.

It is meritorious if you have
