About the Unit

At the Military Academy Karlberg (MHS K), basic officer training for cadets is conducted within the framework of the three-year Officer Program (OP) led by the Swedish National Defence College (FHS). The OP leads to a professional degree of 180 higher education credits and the rank of Second Lieutenant upon employment in the Swedish Armed Forces.

In parallel with this, the Cadet Battalion conducts military professional education during what is known as Armed Forces Time (FMT), which includes leadership and individual development, military skills, and physical training. The Cadet Battalion supports the Swedish National Defence College in implementing the Officer Program, primarily regarding exercise planning, safety, and logistics during exercises.

Main Responsibilities

As a Logistics Assistant, you will be part of the battalion's logistics department. You will support the logistics department with both simple and complex tasks within the unit, such as orders, bookings, material services, and catering. You will also participate as logistics support during the battalion's exercise activities.

  • Current and relevant work experience in the aforementioned tasks
  • Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing

You have the ability to express your opinions in speech and writing, are clear, and communicative. Flexibility and adaptability are desirable traits. In the selection process, great importance will be placed on personal attributes, suitability, and achieved results in previous areas of operation.
