Aura Train & Rail is a new and niche business area within Aura Personal, created to meet the growing need for the right skills in the train and railway industry – both today and in the long term.

We are currently looking for you who have experience working as a Refrigeration Technician.

About the role:

As a Refrigeration Technician specializing in vehicle cooling, you will primarily work with refrigeration systems and heat pump solutions installed in train vehicles. Your tasks include planned and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting operational disruptions, and periodic inspections in accordance with current regulations and safety requirements.

The focus is on high operational safety, energy efficiency, and resource-efficient solutions adapted for vehicle applications. You will document completed work and collaborate closely with colleagues and other technical functions to ensure reliable operation. The work will initially be carried out in Västerås, but work may also occur in other locations.

Requirements:

• Valid refrigeration certificate, category 1
• Experience and knowledge within refrigeration systems
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills and experience with digital documentation
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
