Aura Train & Rail is a new and specialized business area within Aura Personal, created to meet the growing demand for the right skills in the train and railway industry – both now and in the long term. We are currently looking for Track Welders based in Stockholm!

As a track welder, you will work in a team on track maintenance and new construction. The work is varied and takes place in track environments, where safety, precision, and teamwork are crucial. You will also be involved in identifying, handling, and addressing deviations within your area of responsibility at an early stage.

Common tasks include:

• Butt welding and overlay welding
• Cutting and grinding
• Stick brazing and gas brazing

Working hours will vary. Since the role involves travel, on-call duties at home, as well as weekend and night work, it is important that you live in the local area to minimize commuting to and from the workplaces.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A completed upper secondary education
• Approved basic training in track welding (thermit and overlay welding)
• Experience in railway track welding
• Category B driver's license (manual transmission)
• Meets the medical requirements to be approved for security-sensitive duties

Merits:

• Further education in track welding
• Category C driver's license

As the position involves work in security-classified areas, a security clearance check will always be conducted before an employment offer is made.
