About the role
Montico in Katrineholm is currently recruiting, on behalf of our client, an experienced counterbalance forklift truck driver (diesel) for direct employment. The client is a central warehouse that distributes board materials and timber to building supply stores across Sweden.
Job Description
The main tasks involve operating large and heavy goods with a counterbalance forklift on a loading dock without railings. Responsibilities also include handling shipping documents, inspecting goods, receiving deliveries, and picking orders using a handheld computer and scanner. The role involves physically demanding tasks such as pushing, pulling, and lifting heavy goods.
Who we are looking for
You must have a forklift license and at least two years of documented experience driving a counterbalance forklift daily, as well as experience loading and unloading goods from trucks and containers. Experience picking orders with a handheld device is mandatory. Experience working in the building trade sector is considered an advantage.
As a person, you should be driven and solution-focused, while remaining calm and safety-conscious. You need to be persistent, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong work ethic.
