About the role

Axeda Entreprenad is now looking for a QHSE Manager who wants to take a central role in supporting operations within quality, environment, and occupational health and safety. You will become an important support to site managers, project managers, and management in daily work, while also being Axeda's face towards customers, municipalities, and other major clients regarding QHSE matters.

The role is broad and varied. You work both strategically and operationally, dealing with everything from management systems and audits to safety rounds, occupational health and safety plans, and support in tenders and projects. You will work closely with site managers/project managers in the field and play a key role in creating structure, following up on requirements, and ensuring that Axeda continues to develop within the QHSE area.

You report to the CEO and work in close cooperation with the group's sustainability manager and sustainability assistant in Gothenburg. The role covers all of Axeda's operations within both Contracting and Electric Power, with support to the various offices.

Your responsibilities

• Drive and develop Axeda's work within quality, environment, and occupational health and safety
• Maintain and follow up the company's management systems according to ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001
• Plan and conduct internal audits and support external audits and customer audits
• Be the contact person and coordinator for QHSE matters towards customers and clients
• Support site managers and project managers in daily QHSE work
• Develop and follow up occupational health and safety plans, environmental plans, and risk assessments
• Participate in safety rounds, environmental rounds, and other project visits
• Responsible for chemical management and follow-up in iChemistry
• Coordinate training and ensure that the right competence and certificates are present in projects
• Participate in tender work and ensure that QHSE and sustainability requirements are met
• Coordinate safety committee meetings, annual follow-up of SAM (Work Environment Management), and various inspections

Who are you?

We are looking for you who already works with QHSE, occupational health and safety, environment, or sustainability issues and who wants to take a broad and operationally close role in a contracting company. You likely have a few years of experience in the field and preferably come from the construction, civil engineering, or electric power industry.

You have a good understanding of how projects work in practice and enjoy switching between strategic issues and operational support in the field. Experience with ISO 9001 and 14001 is important, and it is an advantage if you have also worked with ISO 45001.

As a person, you are structured, self-reliant, and communicative. You have integrity and dare to set demands when necessary, while building trust and collaborating well with both colleagues, customers, and external parties. You are flexible, unpretentious, and enjoy working in a role where many turn to you for support and guidance.
